It is a battery-operated LED candle with a flame tip and a grungy dark brown wax coating on the outside. It has both traditional on/off settings and a built-in timer feature which automatically turns it on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours! It is 3" high, including the bulb, with a 2½" diameter. It requires 3-"AAA" batteries which are not included.
