Our God Bless America Ornament will stir your American pride as you remember the song written by Irving Berlin in 1918 and made famous by Kate Smith in 1938 version.  The New York Times quoted Irving in 1940, "It's not a patriotic song, but rather an expression of gratitude for what this country has done for its citizens, of what home really means."  The words "God Bless America" are printed on a round wooden ornament with a stylized American flag design.  It has a jute hanger accented with a black wooden bead.
